By accessing or using NovuRoy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and NovuRoy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where possible.
The Service is available to users aged 13 and above. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. NovuRoy is designed with younger students in mind and we encourage parental involvement.
Users under 13 are not permitted to use the Service. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will immediately delete their account and associated data.
NovuRoy provides general educational guidance to help students navigate the college application process and plan their academic futures. The information and recommendations provided by NovuRoy are for informational purposes only.
NovuRoy is not a licensed educational counselor, academic advisor, or legal advisor. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional academic advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any other form of regulated professional advice.
Specific decisions — including which schools to apply to, whether to accept an admissions offer, financial aid choices, and legal matters related to visas or academic records — should be made in consultation with qualified human professionals. Always verify deadlines, requirements, and policies directly with the relevant institutions.
NovuRoy uses AI to generate responses. AI can make mistakes. Do not rely solely on NovuRoy for time-sensitive or high-stakes decisions without independent verification.
To use NovuRoy, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding. You must not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
You may delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@novuroy.com.
You agree to use NovuRoy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

The Service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
Free tier usage may be subject to message or feature limits, which may change over time. We will endeavor to give reasonable notice of significant limit changes to active users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NovuRoy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the information provided by the Service is accurate, complete, reliable, or current. Academic deadlines, policies, and requirements change frequently — always verify with official sources.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovuRoy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost application opportunities, missed deadlines, or reliance on AI-generated guidance.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CHF 100, whichever is greater.
All content, design, branding, and software comprising NovuRoy — including the NovuRoy name, logo, and AI-generated guidance templates — are the intellectual property of NovuRoy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (your profile data, messages, and uploaded documents). By submitting content, you grant NovuRoy a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from NovuRoy's content without our express written permission.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also have rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
